Same goes for craft projects that have made their way into your bedroom. It is great if you love doing craft projects. Just keep them out of your bedroom. When organizing your home, organize those craft projects far away from your bedroom. Having to wade through scrapbook supplies in order to get to your bed is a sure-fire way to kill the mood.
I have a daughter so I know that organizing your home so that all of the toys are in one place is difficult. But if your bed has become the unofficial second toy box in your home, there is a good reason why your love life is less passionate than you would like. It is hard to get in the mood for love when you have an action figure wedged in your back. If it is not bed sheets or you or your significant other, it does not belong in or on your bed.
And last but certainly not least (you are going to hate me for this one), get the TV out of your bedroom. Does watching the news before you turn in for the night really excite you? No? I did not think so. Not only is it bad for your love life to have a TV in the bedroom but it is bad for your sleep. Do you really want the last thing you see before you go to sleep for the night to be some news story about what went wrong in the world today? Would it not be a whole lot better to have the last thing you see before you go to sleep for the night be the face of your significant other? Organizing your home is about using spaces as they are meant to be used. And the bedroom is not meant to be used as a TV viewing center. Okay, so you do not want to get rid of the TV in your bedroom. I understand. Then at least limit the amount of time that the TV is on in your bedroom. Better yet, set a schedule for the TV in your bedroom. For example, it does not get turned on after 8 p.m.

Ceiling Fans – A Personal Review.
Frankly speaking, though it may seem pretty odd, but one of the first things that I noticed about the United States of America was that there were no ceiling fans here. I mean to a person who has grown up with ceiling fans all his life, the lack of them was a sore point. I still clearly remember the first time I saw a ceiling fan. I mean, I had always had a ceiling fan in every room of the house, but the first time I got up, close and personal was when I was around twelve years old.
Back then we had a servant maid who used to take care of the cleaning around the house. However, it so happened that one day, she didn’t show up as usual. And mom had planned a huge spring cleaning effort. So, without wasting any time in going on with her plan, she roped me in to assist her with the cleaning. And being small and quick (in her opinion, needlessly so) I was given the task of cleaning the ceiling fans. The first thing I did was place two chairs atop one another in order to reach the ceiling fan. That was the first time in my life when I went up to see the ceiling fan.
Something that looked so clean from below and provided so much air was a dirty piece of metal suspended from the roof. A big ugly hook answered my questions as to how the ceiling fan managed to stay on the ceiling. And below that hook, or rather, covering it was a plastic upturned bowl that seemed to do nothing more than collects dirt. And below this was the main part of the ceiling fan that included a big, round base from which three fin like objects protruded at obtuse angles. All of them had a fine layer of dust on top and solid grime attached to the edges. I held my nose, prayed that the chairs would stay upright and began the job of cleaning our ceiling fan.
This routine was repeated at least seven times. Yes Like I mentioned earlier, nearly every room had a ceiling fan and the livelihood room had two to cover the entire area. At the end of the day, I was pooped and exhausted. But the tiredness seemed to be worth it when mom made me a glass of cool lemonade and I sank into a chair as the ceiling fans I had cleaned steadily and continuously whirred round and round providing me with cool breeze.
